Humanocentric at its core, the primary population of the Empire and the main species found in its upper echelons is Human. Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars with the destruction of the Separatist Parliament, the Empire seeks to assert its control over the unruly galaxy. Like the Old Republic, the Empire's capital is the Queen of the Core, Coruscant, and thanks to the war now controls a majority of the Galactic Core along with loyalist holdings distributed throughout the known galaxy.
